Sandpaper Marble Tile

Sandpaper marble tile. It has 60 grit medium on one side and 80 grit fine on the other. Seal the marble if desired. Luckily travertine is a fairly soft and porous stone allowing you some leeway when you need to grind it down due to level tiles.

Run your finger over the surface after smoothing to make sure that you can no longer feel any trace of the scratch.
