Samsung Gear Fit 2 Not Counting Floors

Its a known fact from the beginning that samsung is absolutely aweful when it comes to solving issues in the samsung gear devices.
Samsung gear fit 2 not counting floors. However there are several factors that can cause your floor count to seem inaccurate such as your environment and the way you walk. Samsung health data does not sync if you open the samsung health app while your smart watch is connected to your phone your health data will automatically sync. Samsung in their infininte wisdom have decreed that a floor level should be 3 metres. This is also why your floor count might increase if you walk up a steep path. Heart rate is widly off shows 30 beats a lot of times.
It s not a new issue it has been the same on other samsung watches gear fit etc. I contacted samsung and they are clueless and they dont know that this issue was there since the gear fit 2 as well which is the previous model of gear fit 2 pro. It calculates one floor as climbing up three metres. The most it had ever recorded for me is 2.
I just got the galaxy watch yesterday black friday and immediately noticed the floor count is useless. It still is not counting stairs correctly. It is january 28 2019 and this stupid watch still does not count steps floors etc. I mean superb but the hardware is horrible.
The gear fit2 calculates the number of floors climbed as the number of steps taken combined with the height. It counted 10 floors today and did not count after that. This thread is 2 months old and the problems persists. I had used at least 3 types of fitbit the apps and functions are great.
I have a 2 story house and it registered 1 floor all day. Despite being told many many times they still persist with this belief. Does anyone have a solution to active 2 issue of floor counting. If i climb upstairs 30 times a day it may record 0 or 1.
Still learning how to use all the functionality. 0ne issue is its not counting correct number of floors i just tried walking stairs by holding my hand low at the bottom then rising my hand high at the top then walked down in the same way but it still did not count. Just got my gear fit2 pro last week.
