Samsung Gear Fit 2 Inaccurate Floor Count

I contacted samsung and they are clueless and they dont know that this issue was there since the gear fit 2 as well which is the previous model of gear fit 2 pro.
Samsung gear fit 2 inaccurate floor count. It calculates one floor as climbing up three metres. It counted 10 floors today and did not count after that. This is also why your floor count might increase if you walk up a steep path. It still is not counting stairs correctly.
I messaged them and they said no new update was due. Inaccurate floor count factors on your samsung smart watch your watch automatically tracks the number of floors you ve climbed while wearing the watch. I just got a watch software update pushed to me today which i applied. Come on samsung sort this out.
0ne issue is its not counting correct number of floors i just tried walking stairs by holding my hand low at the bottom then rising my hand high at the top then walked down in the same way but it still did not count. Hi there i ve owned the gear fit 2 pro for about a month now and i have to say i really like it it has some great features for the price. I purchased this to replace my fitbit blaze and old asus zw2 which is dying and wanted 1 device to cover both of their functionality. Heart rate is widly off shows 30 beats a lot of times. I cannot believe samsung still havent sorted the inaccurate step count and floor count.
Just got my gear fit2 pro last week. I also question the step count. If you notice your step count to be inaccurate it could be affected by certain factors such as hand movement your samsung watch only counts steps when there is a hand movement. I thought buying the gw vs gear s3 frontier was a smart futureproof buy but not if it isn t accurate.
The only thing that is holding me back from loving the device is that the gps when running seems to be pretty inaccurate in parts. However there are several factors that can cause your floor count to seem inaccurate such as your environment and the way you walk. The gear fit2 calculates the number of floors climbed as the number of steps taken combined with the height. If you are pushing a pram or doing an exercise with no hand movement there is a possibility your watch won t pick these steps up.
